Alas, destiny had other plans in store for him, and in the year 1999, he was forced to set aside his aspirations, placing them on an indefinite hiatus, a decision that would remain in a state of suspended animation for nearly a decade. It was only through a prolonged period of introspection and self-reflection that Cem was eventually able to rediscover his artistic calling, finally summoning the courage and determination necessary to take the leap and embark on his acting career in the year 2007.
