Cesar Ramos was born and raised in Mexico City, where he initially began his journey in the world of acting. He pursued professional acting studies at the esteemed "El Set" institution, subsequently gaining valuable experience by working on various national television and film productions.
His breakthrough role arrived in the form of an international lead part in the film TRADE WELCOME TO AMERICA, produced by the renowned Roland Emmerich and directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner. This was followed by further international projects, including the critically acclaimed INHALE, directed by Baltazar Kormákur, and HIDDEN MOON.
Throughout his illustrious career, Cesar Ramos has had the privilege of sharing the screen with esteemed actors such as Academy Award winner Kevin Kline, Dermot Mulroney, Diane Kruger, Wes Bentley, and Sam Shepard, among others.
In 2012, Cesar made the bold decision to relocate to Berlin, where he went on to produce, write, and star in the short film TRUE BLUE, directed by Pola Beck. This impressive work was selected by the prestigious Film Festival Shorts Mexico in 2015.
Cesar Ramos continued to push boundaries, co-directing the short film Erlösung with Humberto Busto, which garnered widespread recognition by being selected by numerous festivals worldwide. Additionally, he co-directed the feature film BRUMA, directed by Max Zunino, which represented Mexico alongside three other films as the guest country at the 2017 Berlin Film Festival's Market.
