Cheah Chee Kong, also referred to as CheeK, is a multifaceted creative professional, boasting a dual nationality as a Malaysian-born Singaporean. His impressive repertoire includes credits as a writer, director, television series creator, producer, and executive in the creative media industry.
Notable among his works are the feature film "Chicken Rice War" and the musical drama series "The Kitchen Musical", both of which showcase recurring themes of music and food in his storytelling.
Prior to his current pursuits, CheeK held a senior creative and content executive role at Disney (APAC),playing a pivotal part in the team that launched various notable media platforms, including Disney+ Japan, MTV Asia, MTV Japan, STAR TV, and Scripps (Asia Pacific).
On a personal level, CheeK is an aficionado of fine wine, having earned a Diploma in Wines and Spirits (WSET) and Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers) certifications.
