Born in the vibrant city of New York, Chelsea embarked on her illustrious career as a child model at the tender age of 18 months. Throughout her formative years, she dedicated herself to honing her skills in various artistic disciplines, including dance, voice, piano, and cello.
As she grew older, Chelsea continued to nurture her passion for the performing arts, participating in after-school programs and summer camps, such as the renowned Stagedoor Manor in the Catskills. Her high school theatre program provided a platform for her to showcase her exceptional acting abilities, taking on iconic roles like Nina in Chekhov's The Seagull, Lucy in Michael Frayn's Alphabetical Order, and The Director in Luigi Pirandello's Six Characters in Search of an Author.
Chelsea's repertoire also includes an impressive array of Shakespearean works, Ionesco's plays, Tennessee Williams' and William Inge's dramas, as well as numerous musical productions. At the age of 15, she embarked on a solo journey to Ghana, West Africa, where she spent a month documenting her experiences on film.
Upon her return, Chelsea founded the first International Baccelaureate Film Festival, a groundbreaking initiative that brought together students from around the world. Her film was recognized at the 2004 CU2 Video and Film Festival and was subsequently screened in Times Square at the Virgin Megastore movie theatre.
Chelsea is currently a drama major at the prestigious Stella Adler Studio, part of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her collaboration with Antonio Campos on "Buy It Now" marks their second film together, following their successful debut with "First Kiss" when Chelsea was just 15.
"Buy It Now" has garnered widespread acclaim, earning numerous international awards, including the 1st prize at the Cannes Film Festival in the Cinefondation category and the Audience Award at the CineVegas Film Festival.
