Cherinda Kincherlow, a talented and charismatic actress, hails from Compton, California, where she developed a passion for acting at the tender age of five. Her dedication and perseverance led her to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from the esteemed California Institute of the Arts.
Following her graduation from Cal Arts, Cherinda landed her first role in Peter Gabriel's music video, "The Barry Williams Show," directed by the acclaimed Sean Penn, who won an Oscar for his work. This opportunity was followed by a recurring role on Nickelodeon's popular sketch comedy show, "All That."
As Cherinda continued to make a name for herself in television, she was fortunate enough to work alongside the talented Mo'nique, an Oscar and Golden Globe winner, as her assistant in the Oxygen promo for "Mo'Niques Fat Chance." In 2009, she was cast as La Precious in the highly anticipated film, "Crank 2: High Voltage," released by Lionsgate, where she had the opportunity to work with the late Cory Haim. The film's directors, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, filmed an improv rehearsal between Cherinda and Corey Haim on location, which was later used in the film, replacing the original line Cherinda was cast to speak.
Since then, Cherinda has enjoyed a diverse range of projects in television, including her first principal role as the fugitive Larene Austin in the final episode of the longest-running program in the history of FOX, "America's Most Wanted." She has also guest-starred as the humorous and feisty Chanel in Cedric the Entertainer's pilot, "All Rise," and starred in the web series "40" as 17-year-old Wheezie and the Gospel Music channel's "Brother White" as Tanisha Jones, directed by Brian Herzlinger.
Cherinda's impressive booking streak continued with a two-episode guest star role as Darlene in Disney Channel's "A.N.T. Farm" opposite TV star Chyna McClain, as well as a co-star role on her favorite sitcom, "Modern Family," which was a dream come true for her. She has also had the opportunity to showcase her versatility in a more dramatic role as Kiara on ABC Family's popular drama series, "The Fosters."
This talented actress has also appeared in multiple sitcoms, including "Dads," "Nobodies," and the popular sitcom "2 Broke Girls" as the funny and flirtatious TSA agent Sheryl.
