Throughout his illustrious tenure, Chip has accumulated an impressive theatre resume, boasting an astonishing 150 roles on stage, each one a testament to his remarkable talent and dedication.
Chip's academic journey led him to Elmira College in Elmira, New York, a prestigious institution where he had the unique opportunity to be mentored by the illustrious director, Peg Denithorne, a renowned expert in her field.
During his time at the college, Chip was privileged to be part of a talented and diverse group of individuals, including Keith MacKechnie, a skilled and dedicated student, Theresa Valada, a brilliant and ambitious young woman, Janette Barber, a creative and innovative thinker, and Merle Ginsberg, a talented and driven individual.
Chip's impressive career has been marked by a series of esteemed artistic directorships, with notable tenures including a six-year stint as the visionary leader of Golden Apple Children's Theatre in Sarasota, Florida, where he guided the organization from 1978.
He then went on to assume the role of Artistic Director at Stage Door Players in Dunwoody, Georgia, a position he held from 1990 to 1991.
From 1992 to 1997, Chip served as the artistic mastermind behind Abracadabra Children's Theatre at Onstage Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, where he brought his unique creative vision to the forefront.
Finally, Chip capped off his remarkable run as Artistic Director with a four-year tenure at Kaleidoscope Children's Theatre at the Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta, Georgia, a role he held from 1997 to 2000.
