Chris Blount, a multifaceted individual with a unique cultural heritage, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His life-long passion for the movies led him to make the bold decision to become an actor at the tender age of 17.
To further hone his craft, Chris attended Pasadena City College for two years, simultaneously pursuing auditions and casting calls, and working as a print model. He landed several roles in various TV shows and independent films, but recognized the need for more extensive education to elevate his acting skills.
Chris took a year-long break from Hollywood to enroll in the prestigious New York Film Academy, where he immersed himself in the acting-for-film program. This transformative experience not only deepened his passion for the craft but also instilled a strong determination to succeed in the competitive entertainment industry.
Upon graduating from NFA, Chris secured a manager and agent, which led to a steady stream of roles in film and television, including "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," "King of Queens," "Big Time Rush," "Everybody Hates Chris," and numerous independent films. Currently, he has a recurring role on "Malibu Dan The Family Man."
When not honing his craft or running to auditions, Chris loves to travel the world with his mother, absorbing cultures and bringing his experiences back to his acting. If not an actor, he admits he would have been an international airline pilot, citing his love of flying.
In his limited free time, Chris enjoys working out, reading, and watching old Hollywood movies, which he considers essential to studying the art of acting. He believes that understanding the techniques, mannerisms, and approaches of past actors is crucial to his own growth as an artist.
Chris's goals for the future are straightforward: to continue working as an actor and growing as an artist.
