Chris held a prominent position as music director at KCRW-FM in Santa Monica for the majority of the 1990s, cultivating a talented on-air team at one of the world's most respected and forward-thinking radio stations.
During his tenure at KCRW, Chris initially served as the host of the popular daily new music program Morning Becomes Eclectic from 1990 to 1998, before transitioning to a weekly hosting role.
Furthermore, he created and curated KCRW's long-running all-music channel, Eclectic24, solidifying his reputation as one of the most influential radio tastemakers in the country.
In addition to his radio endeavors, Chris is the driving force behind the live performance series School Night!, which has become a beloved weekly party in Hollywood and a monthly event in Brooklyn.
In the film industry, Chris is perhaps best recognized for his work as a multi-Grammy-nominated music supervisor on a variety of feature films and television shows, including American Beauty, As Good as It Gets, Austin Powers, Captain Fantastic, Grace of My Heart, Grosse Point Blank, Heat, Shrek 2, In a World, Flaked, House of Lies, and 24: Legacy, among others.
