Chris Slade, born Christopher Rees on October 30, 1946, is a renowned British rock musician and drummer with a storied career spanning decades. As the current drummer for the iconic Australian hard rock band AC/DC, Slade has made a lasting impact on the music world. Prior to his current tenure with the band, he drummed for AC/DC from 1989 to 1994, contributing to their 1990 album "The Razors Edge" and their first live album with singer Brian Johnson, "AC/DC Live". His return to the band in February 2015 marked a significant moment, as he replaced Phil Rudd for the "Rock or Bust" World Tour. Throughout his illustrious career, Slade has had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of artists, including Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Tom Jones, Toomorrow, The Firm, and Asia.
