Biography

Chris Tasara, a multifaceted creative force, is based on the West Coast, where he has made a name for himself as a writer, director, and musician.

His passion for filmmaking led him to pursue a Master's Degree in Film at the University of Miami, after which he relocated to Los Angeles to start his career.

Chris's directorial debut, the boxing documentary Fortitude and Glory, showcases the late Angelo Dundee, with interviews from boxing legends George Foreman and Freddie Roach.

In 2013, Chris wrote, directed, and scored the supernatural crime thriller Deadline, which premiered on video on demand and later gained international recognition.

Deadline garnered an impressive fifteen awards from various film festivals, including the California Film Awards, Los Angeles Movie Awards, and Lucerne International Film Festival.

Chris's music also made an appearance on the popular Nickelodeon show Victorious, featuring Victoria Justice.

Chris's next project, Warrior Spirit, delves into the world of boxing, exploring a heart-wrenching father-daughter relationship. The screenplay won several accolades, including Best Feature Script from the 2020 Vegas Movie Awards and Best Screenplay Feature from the 2020 Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival.

In October 2020, Chris launched his YouTube series Dopamine, a platform that combines entertainment, music, sports, and finance, featuring notable guests such as UFC star Dustin Poirier.
