Christin Baker is a renowned and accomplished director and Emmy-nominated producer, with a passion for storytelling and a lifelong fascination with video producing and storytelling that began when she was just 13 years old. This curiosity was sparked by her family's acquisition of their first VHS camcorder, and it quickly evolved into a creative outlet that allowed her to express herself through music videos and Saturday Night Live parodies with her neighborhood friends.
As she grew older, Christin's ambitions expanded, and she went on to co-found and become the CEO of Tello Films, a digital distribution and production company that specializes in creating stories for the lesbian and queer community. This pioneering platform has become the longest-running LGBTQ+ streaming platform and has received numerous accolades, including an Emmy nomination for its series "Secs & EXECS," which starred Mindy Sterling and was recognized for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy/Drama Series in 2017.
In addition to her work at Tello Films, Christin has also received critical acclaim for her direction, including the Best Director award at the 2016 London Raindance Film Festival for her work on "Maybelle." She is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, demonstrating her commitment to her craft and her industry.
Christin has also made a significant impact in the world of holiday rom-coms, creating four lesbian and queer-themed films: "Merry & Gay," "Christmas at the Ranch," "I Hate New Year's," and "Season of Love," which was the first Hallmark-esque lesbian and queer holiday rom-com. Her latest projects include a thriller franchise called "Scare BNB," which is currently in post-production, as well as a travel show called "Lez Go! Travel Show," which is currently in production.
