Biography

Chris was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, where the verdant landscape and rich cultural heritage would later shape his formative years. His early life was marked by a sense of adventure and exploration, as his family relocated to Davenport, Iowa, where his father, a gifted musician, held a position at St. Ambrose College.

As a proud educator, Chris's father had the privilege of enjoying a summer break, which he and his wife, Chris's mother, utilized to embark on extensive travels throughout the United States and Canada. This annual tradition allowed the family to experience the great outdoors, often camping under the stars, and created lifelong memories for Chris and his four siblings.

Throughout his childhood, Chris was exposed to a unique blend of educational and cultural influences, which would later inform his perspectives and shape his worldview. His parents' dedication to teaching and their love of travel instilled in him a sense of curiosity, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for the beauty and diversity of the world around him.

As a youngster, Chris was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a supportive family environment that placed a strong emphasis on the importance of education, as well as fostering a deep appreciation for the world of sports. While his academic performance was generally unremarkable, he did possess a certain aptitude for wrestling, although his skills in the realm of pole vaulting left much to be desired.

Chris's professional tenure as a medical supply salesman eventually gave rise to a profound sense of disillusionment with the corporate world's overwhelming emphasis on profitability over moral and ethical principles. This existential crisis prompted him to make a drastic decision: he resigned from his position, acquired a backpack, and embarked on a transformative journey of self-discovery, traversing the globe to distant lands and unfamiliar cultures.

Over the course of two remarkable years, Chris's travels took him to a staggering 31 countries, spanning a collective distance of over 29,000 miles. Throughout his odyssey, he encountered a diverse array of individuals who profoundly impacted his life, leaving an indelible mark on his psyche. These chance encounters with kind and wonderful people, each with their own unique stories and struggles, served as a poignant reminder of the world's vast complexity and beauty.

Chris's journeys took him to various destinations, where he secured employment to sustain himself, engaging in a range of unconventional occupations. In New Zealand, he spent his days harvesting apples, while in Australia, he worked at a ski lodge, immersing himself in the local culture. His travels eventually led him to Hong Kong, where he was approached to appear in a film produced by the renowned Shaw Brothers studio. In this production, Chris played the role of a "white devil," a ruthless drug lord, an experience that profoundly impacted his outlook and sparked a deep fascination with the philosophical and mystical aspects of Eastern thought.

Chris, following the conclusion of his journeys, made the decision to return to his home state of Wisconsin, where he was subsequently presented with an employment opportunity that involved revising the sales training program for a medical supply company. This new venture afforded Chris the chance to gain a fresh outlook and a respectable salary, ultimately allowing him to pursue further academic endeavors.

Chris then chose to enroll in a master's program in psychology at Sonoma State University, situated in the picturesque state of California. His academic focus was centered around the fascinating realm of the paranormal, a subject that had likely piqued his interest during his travels.

Despite being cautioned that securing a position in the realm of the paranormal would be a challenging endeavour, Chris faced difficulties in his job search and was met with little success. Undeterred, he sought out alternative opportunities and eventually found himself drawn to the Redwood Empire Players, a theatrical group based in Sonoma County, where he began to hone his skills as a movie extra in the bustling city of San Francisco.

Chris embarked upon a rigorous regimen of acting and improv classes, diligently striving to refine and enhance his artistic abilities, subsequently leading to a steady stream of commercial, industrial film, and stage role bookings. Following a notable lead performance in a production at San Francisco's esteemed Fort Mason Theatre, Chris made the pivotal decision to relocate to Los Angeles, a city that has since served as his creative hub since the 1980s.

In the vibrant city of Los Angeles, Chris has had the privilege of honing his craft alongside some of the most esteemed acting coaches in the industry, allowing him to tap into their vast expertise and insights. Furthermore, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with a multitude of renowned directors, each bringing their unique vision and style to the table.

With an impressive and extensive resume that spans over 175 different films, television shows, and web series, Chris has demonstrated his versatility and range as an actor. Additionally, his experience in the world of theater has been just as extensive, with numerous plays and productions under his belt. To further diversify his portfolio, Chris has also had the chance to work on a variety of commercials, showcasing his ability to adapt to different formats and mediums.

Overall, Chris's extensive experience in the entertainment industry has equipped him with a broad range of skills and knowledge, making him a highly sought-after and talented actor in his own right.
