In 2004, Leigh reunited with Fox for their new half-hour comedy pilot, "Lucky Us", landing the starring role of the free-wheeling conservative young architect, "Lucy Reed". Just weeks later, Leigh made a guest-starring appearance as "Kate Spangler", a feisty young ad exec, in Fox's new drama series, North Shore.
Later on in the season, Leigh decided to take a brief hiatus from her work at Fox to pursue a new and exciting opportunity, which involved starring in the lead role of a drama pilot television series titled Rocky Point, which was produced by the WB network in the year 2005.
