Ciara began her acting career at the age of nine, appearing in local television commercials in her hometown of Northern Kentucky. She went on to study voice-over and commercial acting, and at 11 years old, was discovered through an audition tape to play Katie Knight on Nickelodeon's hit show Big Time Rush. As her fan base grew, Nickelodeon cast her in several television movies, including the lead role in Jinxed, which achieved record-breaking network viewership ratings.
Ciara has continued to hone her craft by studying with renowned acting coaches Larry Moss and Aaron McPhearson. She prioritizes maintaining her small-town charm and has put her dream of becoming a documentary filmmaker and director on hold, opting to defer her admission to film school instead.
