Colin Pinney, a renowned thespian, was born in 1921 in the charming town of Blandford Forum, located in the picturesque county of Dorset, within the United Kingdom. Prior to embarking on a professional acting career, Colin honed his craft through weekly repertory performances and later trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Throughout his illustrious career, he has demonstrated his versatility by directing plays in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
Colin's impressive list of credits includes his membership in the BBC Radio Drama Company, as well as numerous television appearances in popular shows such as Jeeves and Wooster, The Brittas Empire, and The Bill. Moreover, he co-authored the English version of the opera Mazeppa, which premiered at the iconic London Coliseum.
