Conrado San Martín, a Spanish individual of significance, was born in the picturesque town of Higuera de las Dueñas, located in the province of Ávila, in the year 1921. As the son of a landowner, he initially harbored a desire to pursue a career as an agricultural engineer, but the tumultuous circumstances of the civil war altered his plans.
Prior to venturing into the world of cinema, Conrado San Martín was an amateur boxer, frequenting the gymnasium where he honed his skills. It was during this period that a film director chanced upon the gymnasium, seeking talented individuals to participate in a pivotal fighting scene for an upcoming movie. San Martín's subsequent entry into the film industry began with small, uncredited roles, which eventually culminated in his breakout performance in the critically acclaimed film "Apartado de correos 1001".
Beyond his acting accomplishments, Conrado San Martín also ventured into the realm of film production, establishing the short-lived production company Laurus films, which unfortunately yielded only two feature-length productions. In 1955, San Martín tied the knot with Olga Quiles Colón, with whom he shares five children: Alvaro, Olga, Beatriz, Belén, and Arancha.
Presently, Conrado San Martín resides in the vibrant city of Madrid, Spain, alongside his wife, Olga.
