Courtney Hope has been playing the role of Sally Spectra on The Young and The Restless since 2020, after portraying the same character on The Bold and the Beautiful for four years prior. In 2021, she was nominated for her first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Sally Spectra on The Bold and The Beautiful.
Courtney is also known for her role as Jesse Faden in the hit video game "Control" by Remedy Entertainment, which earned her a nomination for Best Performance at the BAFTA Awards and Best Performer at The Game Awards. The game itself won numerous awards, including Game of the Year by Game Informer and IGN.
In addition to her video game work, Courtney has also appeared in several films, including "Allegiant" in the Divergent Series, the lead role in the indie film "Displacement", which won the Best Sci-Fi Movie at the Hollywood Film Festival, and the lead role in the film "Swelter" alongside Jean Claude Van Damme. She has also appeared in several TV shows, including "Transparent", "Criminal Minds", "CSI Miami", "NCIS", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Bones".
Aside from TV and film, Courtney has filmed over 50 commercials, voice-overs, and ads. She has also been a certified Pilates and fitness instructor and has a degree in Nutrition and Healthy living from Cornell University.
Courtney was raised in Plano, Texas, and began competing in dance and acting at a young age. She graduated from a performing arts school at the age of 15 and moved to LA, where she started college on her 16th birthday and completed her Associates Degree by the age of 18. She has served on the board for the "Breaking The Chains" Organization, focused on Eating Disorders and Mental Health, since 2018, and has also served on the PGEC for the Television Academy for four years.
