Person Biography:
Curtis Morgan, known to many as "Chance", was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Andrew Morgan, a school district superintendent, and Monica Morgan, a Vice-Principal, both of Trinidadian descent. He has a twin brother, Chris. Curtis developed a passion for music and performance at a young age, singing along to various genres and artists during long family road trips.
In high school, he formed a dance troupe and later an acapella singing group, performing songs by popular R&B groups. As he grew older, his love for singing had to take a backseat, but he still felt the need to perform.
Curtis entered MuchMusic's VJ Search in 2000 and, although he didn't win, his video caught the attention of the judges. He was later invited to join the cast of the reality show "6 Canadians on A Bus" and went on to star in several films and TV shows, including "American Soldiers", "The Four Horsemen", and "Conduct Unbecoming".
He has also appeared in shows like "Shadowhunters", "Fatal Vows", and "Zahara: The Return", and has two movies set for release in 2022, "The Apprentice" and "Bordello". Additionally, he has expanded his repertoire to include voice work, voicing commercials for major corporate clients like RBC, Honda, and Lyft.
Curtis's acting coach describes him as having "really, really strong instincts" and states that he has a natural talent for acting. With his diverse range of skills and experiences, Curtis "Chance" Morgan is an entertainer on the rise, with a bright future ahead.
