Born in 1994, in the vibrant city of Perth, Western Australia, Dacre's early life was deeply rooted in the world of film, courtesy of his parents' occupations in the industry. His mother, of Australian-Canadian descent, and father, a New Zealander, instilled in him a sense of creativity and passion for the performing arts from a young age.
As a child, Dacre spent countless hours on film sets, watching his parents work their magic, and developing a profound appreciation for the art of acting. This exposure had a profound impact on his formative years, nurturing his innate talent and fuelling his desire to follow in his parents' footsteps.
In pursuit of his artistic ambitions, Dacre was subsequently accepted into the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA),where he embarked on a three-year Bachelor of Arts in Acting program.
