Damian's illustrious career in the entertainment industry was catapulted to stardom in 1985 when he won not one, but two prestigious awards at the South Australian Young Film-makers, namely Best Comedy and Most Entertaining Film, for his remarkable impersonation of a local TV presenter.
Prior to his rise to fame, Damian honed his craft at the renowned Centre of the Performing Arts, where he was fortunate to be mentored by the illustrious David Kendall. This tutelage laid the foundation for his subsequent success, as he went on to appear in numerous Theatre Restaurant productions, showcasing his impressive impersonation skills and leaving audiences in stitches across Australia.
In addition to his extensive theatre work, Damian also made a name for himself in the realm of short films and television, with a string of credits to his name. More recently, he has revisited his passion for filmmaking, bringing to life an engaging historical documentary about the iconic Rex Theatre, as well as a sidesplitting short film comedy, La Creatif.
