Damon has been actively involved in the television and film industry as an actor since 1996, and has been a proud member of the United British Columbia Performers and Canadian Actors' Equity Association since 1998. Throughout his illustrious career, Damon has had the privilege of taking on a diverse range of character roles that have been deeply personal and reflective of his extraordinary life experiences.
Some of his recent film credits include starring roles in "The Regina Smith Story", "Snowy With a Chance of Christmas", "Death in the Cul-De-Sac", "Two Chefs and a Wedding Cake", and "Been There All Along". In addition to his work on screen, Damon has also had the opportunity to tread the boards in various stage productions, including a summer appearance as Friar Francis in "Much Ado About Nothing" and previous roles in "Cabaret" as Max and "Eurydice" as the Father.
As a charismatic Emcee/Host, Damon is renowned for his ability to effortlessly connect with audiences, exude warmth, and deliver witty banter with ease. In 2021, he took the bold step of opening EMC Studios, a unique resource for individuals seeking to explore their potential as actors, performers, and citizens.
Damon's journey as an actor began at the esteemed Gastown Actors Studio, where he had the privilege of training under the guidance of notable instructors such as Mel Tuck, Hiro Kanagawa, Kate Twa, Trish Allen, Andrew Olewine, Sonia Norris, and Keith Johnstone. He has since continued his education under the tutelage of Karen Kohlhaas and Gina Nemo/Ash Adams, and remains committed to ongoing personal and artistic growth.
When not honing his craft, Damon can be found indulging in his love of sports, winter activities, guitar playing, and singing. He is a true Renaissance man, constantly seeking to expand his horizons as a human being and as an artist and performer.
