He initiated his professional career in the realm of editing, collaborating with esteemed organizations such as the British Broadcasting Corporation, Paramount Pictures, and Nickelodeon. During this period, he created a plethora of short films, including the award-winning Foreplay, which featured the talented Frances Barber. In the year 2004, Dan embarked on shooting his inaugural feature film, Experiment, in the Czech Republic. This cinematic endeavor garnered widespread acclaim, garnering a staggering 17 film festival awards and being distributed globally. Subsequently, Dan has produced a diverse array of successful projects, including the multi-platform drama series Girl Number 9, the Edinburgh Film Festival favorite Stormhouse, and a film adaptation of the best-selling novel Spanky, in collaboration with Shoreline Entertainment.
Peter Mullan and David Harewood shared the screen in the biographical feature film The Man Inside, which made its theatrical debut in the UK in 2012, garnering widespread critical acclaim.

Dan, a multifaceted filmmaker, paused his creative endeavors for a brief period before resuming his passion project, the charming short romantic comedy Girl Tuesday, which premiered in 2019. Currently, he is dedicating his time and expertise to crafting the ambitious short drama film, The Monster in the Bed, set against the nostalgic backdrop of 1965. Furthermore, he is diligently working on developing a new feature film, one that delves into the complexities of World War 2, a testament to his boundless creativity and artistic vision.
