Novelist and actress Dana Broccoli embarked upon her illustrious career as a stage performer in New York and Boston, subsequently relocating to Los Angeles, where she met and married film producer Albert R. Broccoli. Together, they relocated to London and co-founded the film production company Danjaq LLC, which acquired the esteemed James Bond franchise and the beloved "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" property.
Dana Broccoli fondly reminisces about her most joyful professional experience while filming Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) in England in 1967, stating that it was a truly unforgettable experience. She takes great pleasure in collaborating once more with Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, the talented composers and lyricists behind the original score, as well as observing the development of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" as a musical for the London Palladium stage under the guidance of a brilliant creative team and an exceptional cast.
As a published author, Dana Broccoli has penned two novels, Scenario for Murder and Florinda. In June 2000, she adapted her novel "Florinda" for the London stage musical La Cava, demonstrating her versatility and creativity as a writer.
