Darius Rathe is a multifaceted creative professional with a strong Iranian-Canadian background, currently residing in Toronto. He holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of Windsor, which he completed in 2019. During his four-year tenure at Windsor, Darius supplemented his education by attending summer workshops with renowned organizations such as the New York-based SITI Company, The Michael Chekhov Consortium, and The Stratford Festival Summer Academy under the guidance of Ian Watson.

As a young and ambitious director, writer, and producer, Darius wasted no time in producing his first feature-length film alongside his brother, Isaac Rathe. Their film, Duel on the River (2021),was made on a remarkably low budget of $2,000 and starred Darius himself. Following its completion, the film was released straight to Amazon Prime and subsequently sold to a Blu-Ray house, resulting in the sale of 500 copies and a significant profit. The film continues to generate revenue to this day.
Darius' second feature film is currently in pre-production, with plans to commence filming at the end of 2024.
Among the many highlights in Darius' early career, co-founding the comedy sketch group FriendlyFire stands out.
