David Fairman is a renowned and award-winning art and advertising photographer, as well as a film director, with an impressive portfolio that spans decades. He has had the privilege of working with some of the world's leading advertisers and brands, including BT, British Airways, Emirates, Coca-Cola, and Sony.
Throughout his career, David's work has been met with critical acclaim, with US film critic Jack Farance describing it as "worthy of Fellini." In the early 1990s, he joined Picture Palace Productions in London as a commercials director, and later went on to direct and produce his first feature film, "Cold Fish," a dark thriller, in 2000.
This was followed by "Lighthouse Hill," starring Jason Flemyng, and "Messages," starring Jeff Fahey, both of which showcased David's ability to craft compelling narratives and characters. In 2005, he produced and directed "Carmen's Kiss," a film that he co-wrote and is being distributed by Entertainment 7 in the USA.
David's filmography also includes "An Organization of Dreams," a film that premiered at the London Film Festival in 2009, and "Sands of Time...The Lost Cup," an action-adventure movie that he co-wrote and will direct, with a budget of $25 million. He is currently in development of "A Shadowing of Angels," a film inspired by the true story of a commando rescue from ISIS in Iraq, and "Only Anarchists Are Pretty," the story of Malcolm Mc Claren and the Sex Pistols.
In addition to his work in film, David is also a talented art photographer, with his photographs having been exhibited at major galleries around the world. He has published two photography art books, "Gauguin Still Lives on Tahiti" and "Venice Masquerade," which feature his original work exhibited at The Hamilton's Gallery London. The Gauguin exhibition then traveled to the Gauguin Museum on Tahiti, where David's work was hung beside original Gauguin paintings.
David's photography has also been recognized with numerous awards, including having his picture "Camel Riders" chosen as one of the Best Photographs in the past 50 years by The Association of Photographers in an exhibition of the same name. His art prints are now available through Avenue 42 photography Gallery in London, where they are in high demand.
