David was born on the eleventh of June in Palmerston North, New Zealand, and began his journey on the stage at a remarkably early age. At the tender age of eighteen, David pursued higher education in the field of sports science, which subsequently led him to relocate to Auckland with the ambition of becoming a top-notch trainer and competing with one of New Zealand's premier athletic clubs.
Fast forward to the year 2001, when David was approached by producers to participate in a reality television show that revolved around the lives of six ordinary guys. The show, titled Stripsearch, gained instant popularity in New Zealand and catapulted the individuals involved into the media spotlight.
In 2002, David was offered a contract to relocate to the United States and work in Los Angeles. During his performances, he received a phone call to audition for a NBC pilot that would later evolve into the popular television series Jake in Progress, cast by Jeff Greenberg.
Throughout his illustrious career, David has had the privilege of appearing on various television shows, including NBC's Las Vegas, NBC's Ellen, ABC's The View, and most recently, he guest-starred in the hit ABC show Castle. Furthermore, David made his big-screen debut in the family-friendly comedy "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," starring the talented Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner.
