David N. Donihue's illustrious career commenced in 1991 as a Seattle College DJ at KGRG, amidst the vibrant music and arts scene. Prior to his professional endeavors, he had already directed several films between the ages of 11 and 18. This early start in the industry laid the foundation for his future accomplishments, as he went on to write and direct three plays before relocating to Los Angeles.
Upon his arrival in Los Angeles, Donihue made a significant impact in the film industry by writing Parzania, a film that garnered a nomination for India's prestigious Film Fare Award for Best Picture. He then made his feature directing debut with The Weathered Underground, a Choose Your Own Adventure film distributed by Indican Pictures.
In addition to his work in feature films, Donihue has also made a name for himself in the world of music videos. He has directed over 100 short films, which have been released as electronic dance and pop music videos for major labels. Some of his notable collaborations include working with superstars such as KSI, Morcheeba, Breathe Carolina, Cheat Codes, Thomas Gold, Blasterjaxx, and Moguai. His "mini-movies" from this era have amassed an impressive total of over 100 million views.
