Daymon Britton is a television personality who has accumulated a significant amount of screen time over the course of two decades, with a staggering total of over two hundred hours of television appearances to his name. Within this extensive body of work, he is particularly renowned for his contributions to two long-running British television dramas, namely Dream Team, which premiered in 1997, and Byker Grove, which debuted in 1989.
From a very early age, Daymon has been fascinated by the world of acting and directing, with a deep appreciation for the art of filmmaking. Growing up, he was captivated by classic movies such as It's a Wonderful Life, released in 1946, and North by Northwest, which premiered in 1959. As a result, he developed a profound respect for the character journey and the art of storytelling.
Daymon's passion for filmmaking was further ignited when he worked alongside director Declan O'Dwyer in 2007 on the television series Wire in the Blood, which originally aired in 2002. This experience not only honed his skills as an actor but also inspired him to develop his own film ideas and embark on a personal journey of filmmaking.
Currently, Daymon is collaborating with Hook Pictures, an exciting UK-based independent production company, to bring a diverse range of projects to life. Alongside producers Richard Wylie and Ed Barratt, he is actively developing a slate of innovative and captivating film projects.
