Deena Dill's career in television began with her portrayal of numerous country stars' love interests in music videos, showcasing her versatility as a performer. She leveraged this experience to build a successful career both in front of and behind the camera.
As an actress, Deena is set to recur on the multi-generational family saga "Ambitions," premiering on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network in 2019. She plays Juniper Purifoy, the wife of CEO Hunter Purifoy, portrayed by Brian Bosworth.
Deena's accomplishments extend beyond acting, as she is an award-winning creator, executive producer, and writer. She has created, sold, and produced shows that have aired on major U.S. broadcast and cable networks, as well as internationally. Deena co-created, executive produced, and wrote on The CW's hit game show "Oh Sit!," which won the prestigious Rose d'Or Award for Best International Game Show.
Her credits include producing and writing Perfectly You, a syndicated wellness and fitness show, and hosting the Documentary Channel's DocFest. Deena has also appeared in Lifetime's "Conrad & Michelle" and recurred on ABC's "Suburgatory," Nickelodeon's "iCarly," and The CW's "Star-Crossed."
Prior to her television roles, Deena performed stand-up comedy at high-profile venues like The Improv, The Comedy Store, and The Laugh Factory, earning her induction into the famous Friar's Club.
Born in Dayton, Tennessee, Deena graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University, where she was an NCAA Division I triple jumper, 100-meter hurdler, and varsity cheerleader.
Deena enjoys acting, creating, and producing various genres of entertainment, with her work on kids' shows leading to some of her most rewarding experiences, including opportunities to work with children's charities and children in need. She is an active volunteer for the NEA's Read Across America program and the Los Angeles Children's Hospital, and serves on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Special Olympics.
