Deyan Donkov, a talented individual, hails from the picturesque city of Vidin, Bulgaria, where he spent his formative years. He subsequently enrolled in the esteemed National Academy for Theater and Film Arts - Bulgaria, graduating in 1997 with a solid foundation in the performing arts. Donkov's professional journey has been marked by a dual passion for theater and film, with his early foray into the silver screen being in the 1999 production "Dunav most" where he brought to life the character of a charismatic barman.
Throughout his illustrious career, Deyan Donkov has demonstrated his impressive range by taking on a wide variety of roles in numerous Bulgarian films. His exceptional acting prowess has enabled him to craft memorable characters that have captivated audiences. One of his most notable achievements came in 2002 when he won the prestigious "Zlatna roza" (Golden Rose) award for his outstanding performance in the title role of "Emigranti" (Immigrants).
In addition to his work in film, Donkov has also made significant contributions to the world of television, starring in the first-ever Bulgarian criminal serial-film, "Pod prikritie" (Undercover),which premiered in 2011.
