Her parents, Arthur Guy Empey, a writer and producer, and Marguerite Andrus, instilled in her a passion for the arts from a young age. Webber's early career began as a chorus girl, where she honed her skills through formal ballet training.
In 1955, she married Joe Webber, and her life took a dramatic turn when she was discovered by the same man who discovered the iconic Marilyn Monroe. Her captivating presence and alluring features earned her the title of Playmate of the Month in the May 1955 and February 1956 issues of Playboy magazine.
With her mesmerizing face, toned figure, and hypnotic presence, Webber became a popular pin-up girl of the 1950s and 1960s, gracing the covers of numerous men's magazines, including Frolic, Escapade, Adam, Beau, Jem, Tiger, Modern Sunbathing, Mermaid, Monsieur, Fling, American Nudist, Rogue, Nugget, and Esquire.
