Dionne Copland is a multifaceted creative force, boasting a impressive portfolio as both Writer and Director of acclaimed short films Inferno and Haxx Deadroom, as well as the feature film Cold Wind Blowing.
Her initial foray into filmmaking, the student film Inferno, garnered widespread recognition, screening at over twenty film festivals globally and earning prestigious awards for "Best Short Film" and "Best Filmmaker".
In 2016, Dionne took the bold step of co-founding her own production company and home video label, CyberCraft Video, through which she has successfully produced and distributed not only her own films, but also the works of other emerging queer filmmakers.
In May 2017, Dionne achieved a significant milestone, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production, accompanied by a Minor in Film Studies.
Later that year, in December, she wrote and directed her feature-length debut, Cold Wind Blowing, a testament to her growing prowess as a filmmaker.
As someone raised in the heart of a video store, Dionne has an innate connection to the world of cinema, a passion that is palpably evident in her films.
