Don has spent a considerable amount of time working in Australian television since the late 1990s. His extensive American television credits include Childhood's End, the ABC pilot Warriors, and he has recently completed filming NBC's medical drama Heartbeat. Additionally, his latest Australian works include Devil's Playground, The Broken Shore, Serangoon Road, Jack Irish: Black Tide, and Rake.
Don has recently concluded filming the Australian feature Ali's Wedding. Some of his notable film credits include Healing and Lucky Miles, which won the audience award at the 2007 Sydney Film Festival. His US features include Big Top, The TV Set, Winning The Peace, and California King, as well as the Telemovies Devil's Dust and The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce for ABC Australia.
Notably, in 2010, Don won the TV Week Silver Logie for most outstanding actor for his role as Zane Malik in the SBS series East West 101. He received AFI nominations in 2008 and 2009 for Best Lead Actor in a TV drama, and in 2011, he was nominated for the TV Week Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor for his role in Foxtel's series Tangle. Furthermore, in 2012, Don was again nominated for the AACTA for Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama for East West 101.
