Donna, a native of Brooklyn, New York, has embarked on a remarkable journey, characterized by a dynamic shift from a distinguished career as a dancer to a profound dedication to education, and subsequently, a rigorous pursuit of artistic development at the prestigious Henry Street Playhouse, where she refined her craft under the meticulous mentorship of illustrious choreographers Alwin Nikolais and Murray Louis.
Donna's artistic journey as a dancer was profoundly shaped by her formative years at the iconic Henry Street Playhouse, where she immersed herself in the world of performance art and honed her craft. Concurrently, her fascination with the realm of poetry and underground cinema led her to explore the avant-garde scene of 1960s New York, where she had the privilege of collaborating with visionary filmmakers, including the renowned Kuchar Brothers.
After making the significant move to San Antonio and building a family, Donna redirected her innovative spirit towards various artistic forms, predominantly concentrating on acrylic, pastel, and multi-media materials.
