Donnalyn Jereos Bartolome was born in Oahu, Hawaii.
Known as the SMS, or Social Media Sweetheart, in the Philippines, she is a multifaceted artist who has gained immense popularity as a YouTube video blogger, singer-songwriter, rapper, and actress. Her YouTube channel serves as a platform for sharing both cover videos and blogs.
Growing up, Donnalyn's parents, a successful businesswoman and a respected Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, instilled in her the importance of hard work and responsibility. As an everyday girl, she attended school and returned home to help care for her siblings, allowing her parents to focus on their careers.
Among her notable musical releases are "Donnalyn: Di lahat" (2019),a collaborative effort with Skusta Clee, Smugglaz, Bassilyo, and Zaito, titled "HBD (Birthday Mo)" (2019),and "Donnalyn: O.M.O. (On My Own)" (2021).
In addition to her music, Donnalyn has also made a name for herself in the film industry, having appeared in movies such as "Tililing" (2021),"Cry No Fear" (2018) alongside Ella Cruz, "Darkroom" (2017),and "Your Place or Mine?" (2015) starring Andi Eigenmann. She has also participated in various TV series.
