Following his academic success, Doug embarked on a new venture, opening a chiropractic practice in the Flat Iron area of Manhattan, a hub of artistic and cultural excellence.
As a chiropractor, Doug has had the privilege of catering to a diverse and distinguished clientele, comprising elite dancers and ballerinas from some of the world's most renowned ballet companies, including the American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Moscow Ballet, Kirov, Paris Opera Ballet, and Royal Ballet.
His patient roster also boasts talented performers from the iconic Rockettes and various Broadway shows, as well as high-pressure professionals from the world of entertainment, including talent agents, casting directors, show runners, actors, opera singers, and other stressed-out creative individuals.
Doug, a man of great creativity and productivity, has been indulging in his passion for writing in his spare time over the past four years. During this period, he has been incredibly prolific, producing a remarkable array of written works. Among his notable accomplishments is an award-winning non-fiction book, "Quantum Paleo", which showcases his expertise and insight in a particular field. Additionally, he has crafted three screenplays, each one a testament to his skill in storytelling and character development. Furthermore, he has written two one-hour TV pilots, demonstrating his ability to adapt his writing style to the demands of a different medium. Finally, he has also created a one-person show, "Stripping off the Plaid", which he has performed to sold-out crowds at the prestigious PIT theater.
Doug's most remarkable literary accomplishment is his celebrated web series, Second Coming, which he not only conceptualized and penned, but also spearheaded as a producer and took on the starring role.
