Dustin, a talented actress from Nebraska, began her acting career on the stages of the Omaha Community Playhouse, which was founded by Marlon Brando's mother. After graduating from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre, she performed Shakespeare in a 500-seat Off-Broadway theatre, wrote and performed in an urban sketch comedy troupe in New York called The Actor's Gang, and became a member of the oldest theatre company in Los Angeles, Company of Angels, where she played the role of Sally Bowls.
Dustin co-hosted the Miss Hollywood Image at Universal Studios, was part of LA Weekly's winner of Ensemble of the Year Award for "Trainspotting", and Variety described her work in "St. Elmo's Fire" as "Understated Perfection".
