Edy Ganem is an American film actress with a rich and diverse cultural heritage, born in Modesto, California, to a Mexican and Lebanese family. She has two brothers and spent her childhood moving frequently, with her family residing in several cities in Mexico. Edy also lived in Barcelona, Spain, before settling in San Diego, California, where she ultimately decided to pursue a career in acting. Today, she resides in Los Angeles.
Edy's early career in acting began with small roles in independent features and short films, such as Black Limousine (2000),Like Crazy (2011),Ghost Maker (2000),Las Angeles (2010),and The Loneliest Road in America (2010).
As Edy's talent and experience grew, she landed a lead role in the independent film After the Wedding (2017) and went on to have several other leading roles in short films, including Lucha (2011),Laptop (2011),Ojalá (2013),Violeta (2014),and Salvador (2011). She has also made guest appearances on television shows, such as Rob (2012),and acquired a voice-over role for The Cleveland Show (2009).
Currently, Edy stars as the lead character "Valentina Diaz" in the popular Lifetime TV series Devious Maids (2013).
In her free time, Edy enjoys taking ballet lessons, riding a motorcycle, playing sports, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. She is also open to exploring new roles in the future, citing her desire to play a rock star or a daredevil.
