Biography

Elijah Long is a multifaceted creative professional, boasting an impressive portfolio as a producer, writer, and actor. His career has been marked by numerous milestones, including becoming the first African American to join the producing ranks of the Rambo franchise's 30-year history, as Executive Producer on Rambo V: Last Blood, which premiered globally in September 2019.

In addition to his work on Rambo V, Long also served as Executive Producer on the biopic TESLA, starring Ethan Hawke, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020 and was subsequently acquired by IFC Films.

Long's collaborations have also included joining forces with CIROC and Paramount Pictures to Executive Produce cross-branding commercials for Will Packer's What Men Want.

As a writer and producer, Long co-wrote and produced Jamie Foxx's directorial debut, All-Star Weekend, which boasted a star-studded cast featuring Gerard Butler, Robert Downey Jr., Eva Longoria, DJ Khaled, and more.

Long has also returned to the screen, starring in the multi-award-winning short film Still Harlem by Lynn Dow.

Born and raised on Chicago's Southside, Long's journey began after high school, when he traveled the world as a member of the US NAVY. Following his military tour, Long settled in New York, where he began landing acting roles in Equity stage plays and off-Broadway productions. However, his true passion lay in television and film, leading him to relocate to Los Angeles.

Long's early television appearances included roles on hit shows such as Fox's Lie to Me, House M.D., Lincoln Heights, Nip/Tuck, The Protector, and Clean House.
