Elizabeth Ann Reaser was born on July 2, 1975, in Bloomfield, Michigan, to Karen Weidman and John Reaser. As the middle child among three sisters, she spent her childhood in rural Milford, Michigan. Her mother, a homemaker, and her father, an attorney turned restaurateur turned substitute teacher, divorced, and her stepfather, businessman Bill Davidson, entered her life.
Growing up, Elizabeth held various part-time jobs, including working as a caddie at a country club. Her desire to become an actor began in her childhood, and she pursued her passion with determination.
Elizabeth started her college journey at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, but after one year, she felt the need to venture out of the Midwest and broaden her horizons. With her parents' blessing, she applied to the Drama Division of The Juilliard School and was accepted. At Juilliard, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1999.
Initially, Elizabeth faced challenges, but she soon found representation and landed a role on the daytime drama series, Guiding Light, in 1999. Since then, she has established herself as a talented film, television, and stage actor, securing numerous supporting and leading roles.
In October 2004, Interview magazine recognized her as one of the "14 To Be" emerging creative women.
