Mary Elle Fanning was born on April 9th, 1998, in Conyers, Georgia, USA, to Heather Joy Arrington, a former professional tennis player, and Steven J. Fanning, a minor league baseball player turned electronic sales representative. This talented actress boasts a rich ancestry, with roots tracing back to Germany, Ireland, England, France, and the Channel Islands.
Elle's remarkable journey to stardom began at a tender age of almost three years, when she portrayed the younger version of her sister Dakota Fanning's character Lucy in the critically acclaimed drama film I Am Sam (2001). She then reprised her role as Allie, age three, in the action-packed film Taken (2002),once again alongside her sister.
