Prof. Emil Horváth, a distinguished Slovak actor, director, and theater instructor, emerged into the world on November 12, 1945, in the charming city of Nitra. As the offspring of the illustrious actor Emil Jozef Horváth and the devoted partner of the talented actress Viera Richterová, he is deeply embedded in a family with a rich heritage in the performing arts.

Prof. Horváth's illustrious academic odyssey commenced at the prestigious Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he earned his degree in acting in the year 1968, marking the beginning of a lifelong passion for the craft. Subsequently, he joined the esteemed SNP Theater in Martin, where he spent a significant eight-year period from 1968 to 1976, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience as a performer.
