Emy Storm

Emmy "Emy" Karolina Storm was a renowned Swedish stage and screen actress who left an indelible mark on the world of entertainment. Her journey in the industry began at a tender age of 15, when she made the bold decision to leave her hometown and relocate to Stockholm. In order to make ends meet, she took up odd jobs, working as both a maid and a waitress. Despite the challenges she faced, Storm's passion for acting only grew stronger, and she eventually enrolled in the prestigious Royal Dramatic Theatre's acting school, where she graduated in 1948. This marked the beginning of a successful career that would see her make her film debut in Hasse Ekman's critically acclaimed "Banketten/The Banquet" later that same year.
