Erika was born in the charming town of Plainfield, located in the state of New Jersey, and spent her formative years in the quaint small town of Mountainside, situated just a stone's throw away from her birthplace.

She then attended the prestigious Kent Place School in Summit, New Jersey, where she honed her skills and laid the foundation for her future academic and professional pursuits.

Upon completing her secondary education, Erika ventured to Poughkeepsie, New York, to attend Vassar College, a renowned liberal arts institution. She graduated magna cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama, a testament to her dedication and natural talent.

Following her college graduation, Erika made the bold decision to relocate to the vibrant city of Los Angeles, where she began to establish herself as a talented actress and singer. She also took the reins as the lead vocalist and frontwoman of her own successful alternative rock/pop band, Velvet Chain.

Velvet Chain's impressive résumé boasts a string of notable credits, including their work on the popular TV show and soundtrack album for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." The band's music has also been featured on a variety of other television programs, including MTV's "Road Rules" and "Live Through This," VH1's "Sparkle Lounge," HBO's "Sex and the City," ABC's "Big Shots," and E!'s "Fashion Television," among others.
