Biography

Ewerton de Castro, a multifaceted Brazilian artist, was born on December 11, 1945, in São Paulo. He has spent his illustrious career as an actor, screenwriter, producer, and director, showcasing his immense talent in various mediums.

Throughout his remarkable journey, Ewerton has had the privilege of participating in over 25 films, numerous theatrical shows, and soap operas, leaving an indelible mark on the Brazilian entertainment industry. His outstanding performance as Mário in the film Anjo Loiro earned him the prestigious award for best supporting actor at the 1973 Santos Festival.

In 2006, Ewerton took on the role of Martim Afonso de Sousa in the Staging of the village of São Vicente, held on Biquinha beach in São Vicente, São Paulo. This event was a testament to his adaptability and commitment to his craft.

In 2011, after his impressive stint in the miniseries The Story of Esther, Ewerton made the difficult decision to retire from the industry. However, in 2014, he made an exception to star in the play O Amor Move o Sol e Outro Estrelas in Cordeirópolis, aiming to promote theater in the interior of São Paulo.
