Biography

Fay Lytle's film career has taken a unique trajectory, initially rooted in horror and horror-comedies, but gradually evolving to encompass stories that are both unexpected and heartwarming.

As a young child, Fay discovered her passion for performing through her involvement in ballet and theatre, and has been crafting skits, plays, and stories since her early years. She finds immense fulfillment in all aspects of storytelling, whether it's through written words, spoken dialogue, filmed scenes, live performances, or even visual and auditory mediums like illustrations, animation, music, and dance.

Fay's artistic and performing journey has been shaped by a diverse range of formal and informal studies. In high school, she explored subjects like Television Productions and Media Arts, which introduced her to various aspects of filmmaking, such as screenwriting, storyboarding, cinematography, on-screen acting, editing, and basic animation. She also honed her skills in dance, advanced classes in drawing and literature, and was heavily involved in theatre and art groups at Brainerd Sr. High School in Minnesota.

Fay further developed her storytelling abilities through hands-on experience on the sets of independent films, student films, and stage performances in Minnesota and Los Angeles. She acquired additional knowledge through courses in technical theatre and music industry, including stage managing, set building, costume design and construction, operating lights and sound boards, and laying and mixing basic tracks. She also received performance-specific training in singing, voice training, stage acting, on-screen acting, voiceover acting, improvisational acting, Children's Theatre, hand-to-hand stage combat, and choreographed fighting with a cutlass and broadsword.

Fay's educational background is equally impressive, with credits from Central Lakes College in Minnesota, St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, The Second City in Hollywood, Zydeco Casting Studios in Los Angeles, and The Academy of Theatrical Combat in Hollywood. She is fluent in English and speaks varying degrees of multiple languages, with the ability to access a range of accents. Fay considers herself a self-proclaimed mythology/science-fiction/fantasy nerd.
