Throughout his formative years, Vandyke's remarkable vocal talents were meticulously honed through his tenure at The American Boychoir School in Princeton, New Jersey, and private voice coaching, which allowed him to refine his skills as a young singer.
Before embarking on his journey as a performer, Vandyke explored his latent acting abilities at Texas State University, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the stage and its many nuances.
Upon making the significant decision to relocate to the vibrant and culturally rich city of New York, Vandyke has been afforded the exceptional opportunity to collaborate on a diverse array of productions, showcasing his remarkable talent and versatility as a performer. These notable collaborations have included the direction of Ryan Emmons in the production of "Cadaver Synod" at the esteemed Playwright's Horizon, as well as the direction of Melissa Crespo in the staging of "Bread and Roses" at the same esteemed institution. Furthermore, Vandyke has also had the privilege of working on the production of "Goddess" under the direction of Saheem Ali at the renowned Eugene O'Neill Theater Center.
