Frank Conniff is a multifaceted comedy writer and performer who embarked on his television career by penning scripts for the esteemed Comedy Central series "Mystery Science Theater 3000," which earned a Peabody award, and also took on the role of "TV's Frank," a well-intentioned yet hapless mad scientist sidekick.
Subsequently, he transitioned to working as a writer, producer, and actor on the ABC television series "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and went on to contribute his talents to the ABC series "The Drew Carey Show," MTV's "The New Tom Green Show," and the satirical series "O2BE" on the Oxygen Network, where he was also a cast member.
In addition, Conniff served as the head writer of the animated Nickelodeon series "Invader Zim" and worked as a writer and producer for the Air America Radio network, crafting material for renowned on-air personalities such as Rachel Maddow, Marc Maron, Lizz Winstead, Al Franken, Janeane Garofalo, and Randi Rhodes.
He has also been involved with several other projects, including writing and performing on "Viewpoint with John Fugelsang" on Current TV, "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell" on the FXX network, and "The Jimmy Dore Show" on Pacifica Radio.
Currently, Conniff can be heard weekdays from 2 to 5 pm on the Sirius XM radio show "Tell Me Everything" and can be seen touring the country with his live movie-riffing show "The Mads Are Back."
In his free time, he devotes himself to writing, producing, and directing original musical comedy radio plays for his scripted podcast "Podhouse 90" and writes and performs in "Cartoon Dump," a monthly stage show in New York City.
