Frank's professional journey began with a 10-year stint as a stage director after graduating from NYU's Graduate Acting Program. However, he decided to pivot and pursue a full-time acting career in the early 2000s. This bold move paid off when he landed a recurring role as ADA Don Newvine on "Law and Order: SVU" in 2001.
As an actor, Frank has had the privilege of appearing in various stage productions, including the premieres of "August: Osage County," "The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told," "One Neck," "Second-Hand Smoke," and "The Vietnamization of New Jersey." His extensive film credits include "The App," "Non-Stop," "The Bay," "The Amazing Spiderman 2," "Deception," "The Corrections," "The House is Burning," and "Flannel Pajamas," among many others.
In television, Frank has had notable roles in "Law and Order: SVU" as FBI Special Agent O'Connell, as well as guest appearances in "The Blacklist," "The Knick," "Hostages," "Alpha House," "Boardwalk Empire," "Elementary," "Person of Interest," "Blue Bloods," "Nurse Jackie," "Unforgettable," "Royal Pains," "Fringe," "Onion News Network," and "Sopranos," to name a few.
As a faculty member of The Juilliard School's Drama Division since 2000, Frank has had the opportunity to teach and learn alongside some of the industry's most talented actors and directors. His regional credits include "Mister Roberts" at the Kennedy Center, "Side Man" at The Guthrie, "Six Years" at ATL's Humana Festival, and "The Black Dahlia" at Yale Rep, among many others.
Throughout his career, Frank has had the pleasure of working with esteemed actors such as Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Andy Garcia, Julianne Moore, Diane Weist, Maggie Gyllenhall, Stacey Keach, Melissa Leo, Michael Stuhlbarg, Estelle Parsons, Michelle Dockery, and Lupita Nyong'o, among others. He has also had the privilege of collaborating with directors like Barry Levinson, Jaume Collet-Serra, Mark Wing-Davey, Noah Baumbach, Liviu Culei, Christopher Ashley, Ethan McSweeney, Moises Kaufman, and many more.
In addition to his busy acting schedule, Frank has enjoyed teaching and being taught at The Juilliard School's Drama Division, his artistic home for the past 15 years.
