Fred Griffith was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and currently resides in Los Angeles. He is a proud father of two, Jackson Graham and Georgia Grace. From a young age, Fred knew he wanted to pursue a career in acting, drawing inspiration from his idol John Wayne. He began his journey in community theater, eventually landing roles in commercials and producing and starring in his first short film.
Throughout his career, Fred has had the privilege of working alongside some of Hollywood's most legendary talent, including Sydney Poitier, Robert Duvall, David Carradine, Mickey Rooney, Lee Majors, and Rance Howard, to name a few. His impressive resume includes performances in films such as "The Last American Brickmaker in America," "Gods and Generals," "Miracle at Sage Creek," "Strike the Tent," and "Ghost Town."
In addition to his film work, Fred has also returned to the stage, most recently starring as Lt. Doug Roberts in a production of "Mister Roberts." He has made occasional guest appearances on television, with his most notable role being a spot on the hit series "24" alongside Keifer Sutherland.
When he's not acting, Fred is pursuing other passions, including writing. He is currently working on a screenplay and a country music song. In 2003, he was honored to present the Elvis Presley award at the American Veteran Award show, which aired on The History Channel in 2004.
Fred is also committed to giving back to his community, volunteering his time to read children's stories at local elementary schools through the Screen Actors Guild program, "BookPALS." In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with his family at the beach, playing golf, and writing poetry. You may catch a glimpse of him at celebrity golf tournaments, where he supports various charities.
